Heather Pearce

Heather Pearce

Heather is one of those paralegals who felt a calling for the practice of law. From a young age, Heather knew she wanted to advocate for justice and individuals fighting for their rights. She brings her passion for advocacy into her work in human rights law.

Heather is a Paralegal member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits by virtue of office, and an appointed Notary Public. She is goal-orientated and skilled at legal research, analysis, application of law to the relevant facts, writing and drafting, and creative problem-solving.

Before establishing Pearce Paralegal, Heather honed her expertise as a Paralegal in a firm that focused on defending clients charged with provincial offences and a general practice. Her earlier roles as a law clerk for firms in Edmonton, London, and Toronto have equipped her with a practical understanding of the realities of legal tasks and matter management.

Heather earned a Paralegal Diploma with Distinction from triOS College, a Bachelor of Arts (Honors Specialization) degree in Political Science from King’s University College at Western University, and a Law Clerk Diploma from Fanshawe College.
